The stream crossing located at Little Brown's Creek and Roundy Road (left) was identified by Ross Taylor and Associates as the 2nd highest priority project in Trinity County. The County has not yet replaced the culverts because the project requires extensive hydrologic analysis. Engineering design and permitting activities for the project will be completed in 2005 with funding through the California Coastal Conservancy. The project is tentatively scheduled for implementation in 2006. The removal of the culverts would restore access to over 3 miles of habitat for coho salmon and steelhead trout.
