Del Norte County Migration Barrier Removal

Del Norte County has completed 6 Migration Barrier Removal Projects since 2000, restoring access to approximately 10 miles of salmonid habitat. The County has completed these projects with funding from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, California Department of Fish and Game, the California Coastal Conservancy. and the Del-Norte County Community Development Departmnet. Del Norte County Migration Barrier Inventory

Jordan Creek Migration Barrier Removal Project on Parkway Drive in Del Norte County was completed in 2000 in conjunction with the removal of a privately owned barrier located directly upstream..
