Migration Barrier Inventory Reports. The 5C Migration Barrier Removal Program began with an inventory of fish passage barriers on County roads in each individual County. The inventories were completed by consulting biologist Ross Taylor and Associates and have served as guide for project implementation and prioritization.

5C Roads Manual: "A Water Quality and Stream Habitat Protection Manual for County Road Maintenance in Northwestern California Watersheds". The 5C Roads Maintenance Manual was completed by consultant Sari Sommarstrom. The purpose of the manual is to provide a user-friendly, fish-friendly guide for county road maintenance staff and the implementation of improved road maintenance practices.

Fish Passage Forum Memorandum Of Understanding. The Five Counties Salmonid Conservation Program has been an active member of the Fish Passage Forum, an inter-agency effort to remove barriers to fish passage throughout Northern California.
Guidelines for Salmonid Passage at Stream Crossings. NOAA Fisheries-National Marine Fisheries Service, Southwest Region. This document provides guidelines for the design of stream crossings to aid upstream and downstream passage of migrating salmonids. It is intended to facilitate design of a new generation of stream crossings, and assist the recovery of threatened and endangered salmonid species.
